Roelof Botha joined Sequoia in 2003 and serves as a managing partner and steward. He is in charge of Sequoia's U.S. and European operations, after the company split its global brands in 2023. He focuses on internet, services and software investments.Botha backed database program MongoDB (IPO 2017), which has a market capitalization of $17.6 billion as of June 2024.
