Filipe Silva was born in Lisbon, Portugal, on 4 July 1964. He is Vice-chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer since 1 January 2023. He was the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Galp from July 2012 to May 2023.Since 1999 and before joining Galp, he was responsible for the investment banking areas of Deutsche Bank in Portugal, and since 2008, he was also the CEO of Deutsche Bank in Portugal.Filipe is a graduate in economics and financial management and holds a Masters’ Degree in Financial Management, both from the Catholic University of America, Washington D.C.
