Alex Chaloff is the Chief Investment Officer at Bernstein Private Wealth Management, where he oversees investment strategies and portfolio management for high-net-worth clients, endowments, and foundations. Prior to his current role, Alex led Bernstein’s Alternative Asset Strategies and co-headed the Private Client Investment Policy Group. He has been instrumental in providing asset allocation, investment, and risk management advice, drawing from his extensive experience in the financial industry. Before joining Bernstein in 2005, Alex was a Managing Director at Wilshire Associates, where he served on the firm’s investment committee and structured investment programs for Fortune 500 companies. He also developed portfolio construction for multiple mutual fund complexes, acting as Chief Financial Officer for several fund families. Earlier in his career, he worked in fund accounting operations at a global custodian in Boston. Alex holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland, College Park, and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California.
