He focuses on healthcare, manufacturing and consumer products and services.He was instrumental in his firm funding electric car company XPeng, which had a market capitalization of over $8 billion as of May 2024.Matrix also invested in rideshare company Didi Chuxing, internet services company Baidu and online food delivery service Ele.me, which was acquired by Alibaba in 2018 in a deal valued at $9.5 billion.He co-founded San Si Institute, a group of entrepreneurial leaders in China who are focused on solving societal problems.Prior to Matrix, Su was a founding general partner of TDF Capital and KPCB China.
