Allan has extensive experience in the strategic, financial and commercial management of global subsea and marine industry organisations. He has developed and led the organic and acquisition-led growth of several businesses to date. Prior to joining Ashtead Technology in 2009, firstly as CFO and then as CEO since 2012, Allan held a number of senior positions in the offshore energy industry for companies including Triton Group, Vroon Offshore and ASCO. He is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Business Studies degree from Robert Gordon University.
