José María holds a degree in Law from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE), an MBA from the Stern School of Business (New York University) and a Master in Portfolio Management from the IEB. He has held various positions of responsibility in several international financial institutions, starting his professional career in New York as a stockbroker at Kidder, Peabody & Co. He later worked at Bankers Trust, ABN AMRO Asset Management, was Head of Sales in Spain and Portugal at JPMorgan Asset Management and General Manager in Spain at Allianz Global Investors. In his last stage he was Partner at the asset management company W4i Investment Advisors Limited and CEO of Metagestión. His seniority and experience do not make José María a boring person, quite the contrary, we are faced with the most playful person in the asset management company.
