Caroline Shamu is an assistant professor of radiology at HMS, appointed both at Massachusetts General Hospital and in the Department of Biological Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology. She has led the ICCB-Longwood Screening Facility for almost 20 years, starting as head of screening in 2000 and serving as director since 2004. She has also served as HMS scientific director for research cores and technology since 2016. In that role, she has coordinated HMS support for research core facilities and technology development and has helped establish Quad-wide working groups addressing research data management and research rigor and reproducibility.
