Michael Porter, M.Eng., P.Eng., LEG., is a BGC director and principal geological engineer with a broad background in engineering geology and geotechnical engineering. He joined BGC in 1996 following completion of his geological engineering degree at the University of British Columbia. Mr. Porter’s technical work focuses on the development and implementation of geohazard and geotechnical risk management programs for the oil and gas, hydropower, transportation and mining industries.
