Patrick Gerard Downey is President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of the Company. He was Independent Director of Orezone Gold Corporation with effect from April 5, 2011. He is President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Elgin Mining Inc. and has over 25 years of international experience in the resource industry. Prior to joining Elgin Mining Inc. Mr. Downey held the position of President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Aura Minerals Inc. Mr. Downey was President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Viceroy Exploration Ltd. before its acquisition by Yamana Gold Inc. in 2006 for $600 million.
