Dr. Antony Harwood, President | CEO | Director. Dr. Antony “Tony” Harwood is an economic geologist with over 40 years of international exploration and mining experience, primarily focused on gold and copper. He has served as President and CEO of Montero Mining & Exploration Ltd. since 2009 and led the company to its IPO on the TSX.V in 2011. Before joining Montero, Tony was President and CEO of Africo Resources Ltd., where he successfully listed the company on the TSX to advance a major copper-cobalt project in the DRC. He also held the position of Vice President Generative at Placer Dome Inc. for eight years, contributing to the company’s significant growth before its acquisition by Barrick Gold Corp. in 2006.
