Bachelor in Business Administration graduated from the Universidad del Pacífico, Bachelor in Accounting from the same university, Master in Administration from the University of Miami, Florida and completed the Advanced Management Program in May 2017 at Harvard Business School. He worked at Buenaventura from 1990 to 1997, where he held the position of Head of Treasury. He served at Sociedad Minera el Brocal as Finance Manager until 2000. He has been General Manager of Boticas BTL until 2005 and General Manager of Boticas Inkafarma until June 2011. He rejoined Buenaventura as General Comptroller in July of the year 2011, then he was Vice President of Finance and Administration until August 2020. He was director of Química Swiss Retail, a business that manages the MiFarma Boticas chain, from January 2016 to January 2018. General Manager of Consorcio Energético de Huancavelica and Company Director Minera El Brocal, Compañía Minera Condesa and Huanza Generation Company.
