part 2 : Tax Planning Tips with Maggie Klokkenga, CFP®, CPA, AFC® | Abundo Wealth | Maggie Klokkenga - Financial Planner at Abundo Wealth 00:10:00
I began in the financial services industry as a CPA working at public accounting firms providing tax planning for high-net-worth families. However, I realized that I wanted to do more than just taxes, so in 2012 I joined an independent RIA to provide comprehensive financial planning. I founded my own RIA in 2021 because I saw a need for people to receive help first with their cash flow to identify where their money was going, and then decide whether that was the continued right course of action for their hard-earned money. Why I Joined Abundo I love Abundo's mission to bring high-quality, conflict-free comprehensive financial planning to everyone. In fact, I was referring clients to Abundo because my fees were more expensive. Joining the Abundo team felt like coming home. As a financial planner, I'm passionate about helping my clients align their money with what they truly value.
