Founder Warner Arms Henderson has been advising individuals and organizations in all areas of financial planning, with special interests in investment, retirement and charitable planning since 1975. Preceding the founding Aequitas in 1991, Warner was co-founder and Managing Director of TFC Financial Management, Inc. in Boston from 1981 to 1991. He remains a member of TFC’s multi-advisory firm investment committee. Prior to working with TFC, Warner worked as a Special Agent for Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company. Warner is a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), a member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals and the Investment Management Consultants Association. He is a Financial Services Affiliate Member of The National Association of Personal Advisors (NAPFA). Warner is Trustee Emeritus and investment committee member of the Thompson Island Outward Bound Education Center. Over his tenure with Thompson Island, Warner served as President, Treasurer and Chairman of the Investment Committee. Warner is also Past Chairman of the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee Investment Committee and served on the Board of Trustees of the Van Ness Funds. Warner is a graduate of Union College in Schenectady, NY where he earned a BA in American Studies. He has completed graduate level work at Union Theological Seminary, George Washington University and the American College where he attained his ChFC® designation.
