Why Estate Planning is Essential for Everyone | Andrea M. Gray, VICE PRESIDENT, ESTATE STRATEGIES of Howe & Rusling, Inc. 00:10:00
Andrea is responsible for the Firm’s estate planning capabilities. As an attorney since 2006 and licensed in NY and TX, Andrea partners with the financial planning team to analyze client plans with respect to trusts, wills, powers of attorney, asset protection plans, Medicaid and long-term care considerations. She works hard to ensure our clients have a comprehensive, cohesive, and personal up-to-date plan that protects their legacy now and into the future. Holistic, compassionate and collaborative planning are fundamental to her work. To that end, she maintains a separate and independent boutique law firm, AM Gray Law, that is available to work with our clients and other clients with estate planning, special needs planning, and elder law needs. Andrea’s compassion and advocacy for people with disabilities has led her to carve out a niche in her practice for special needs planning and elder law. Andrea is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Rochester, Monroe County Bar Association (MCBA) Trusts & Estates Section, the Elder Law & Special Needs Section, and NY State Bar Association (NYSBA) where she serves on the Attorney Well-Being Committee and Medicaid Committee of the Elder Law & Special Needs Law Section. Since 2014 she’s been a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) including the NY and TX Chapters. Andrea is a member of Victor Farmington Rotary and the Junior League of Rochester. Andrea’s outside interests include spending time with her husband hiking with their dog and exploring new places. Andrea is an avid sports fan and will often be found with a game on. She also enjoys being outside, gardening, and reading new titles from local independent bookstores.
