Dr. Andrew Lichtman received and MD and PhD degrees from the University of Rochester School of Medicine in 1981, trained in Anatomic Pathology at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) 1982-1985, and is currently Professor of Pathology at Harvard Medical School (HMS) and a Staff Pathologist at the BWH. Dr. Lichtman’s laboratory research program has focused on T lymphocyte-mediated immune responses, especially in the context of cardiovascular disease, including atherosclerosis and myocarditis.
