Venture capitalist Philippe Botteri, a long-timer at Accel, has secured a spot on the Midas List for three years in a row. His success stems from backing numerous billion-dollar startups, including the massive $35 billion IPO of UiPath. Botteri's Midas touch extends to leading a recent $90 million funding round for Synthesia, an AI video generation company now valued at $1 billion. He has a history of picking winners, with DocuSign (IPO 2018), payments platform Melio ($4 billion valuation), and Chainalysis ($8.6 billion valuation) also gracing his portfolio. Originally from France, Botteri spent a decade in Silicon Valley, including a five-year stint at Bessemer Venture Partners, before settling in London.
