Robert Hamilton AM was the joint founder of property developer, Mirvac Group, and was Mirvac’s Managing Director for over 30 years until 2005. With a focus on design and quality, Mirvac developed around 30,000 homes under Hamilton’s leadership including Sydney’s Olympic Village, Walsh Bay and Melbourne’s Beacon Cove. Mirvac also diversified into hotels and office towers controlling $5.5 billion in real estate in 2005 when Hamilton stepped down. As a respected advisor, Hamilton has since served as a Director of Urban Growth NSW and on the Salvation Army Advisory Board.
